Throughout my pregnancy and postpartum with my baby girl I was drawn to painting chamomile flowers. Flowers can be symbolic of cycles… a representation of life, death and rebirth. The chamomile flower in particular, can have the symbolic meaning of happiness, calmness, peace and rest, as well as signifying renewal and rebirth due to its ability to bloom.
